Visitors from the United Kingdom are our audience, and the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 set the rules we follow for personal data.
Our approach is to gather little. Server logs note your IP address, the browser you use and which pages you open, so that the site stays online and abuse can be spotted. Analytics only show combined page-view figures, not what any one person did. Should you write to us or sign up to something, your details are kept just long enough to deal with your request.
Cookies and Your Rights
Cookies store preferences and tell us how the site gets used. Optional ones can be turned down on the banner or removed through your browser settings; nothing on the site stops working if you do.
You are entitled to see the data held about you, to have mistakes corrected or the data deleted, and to object to how it is processed. Message us directly and expect an answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can take a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
